Who We Are

Adam Schwartzman

Adam has taught in New York City jails since 2016. He received an MFA from Columbia University, where he taught undergraduate fiction and founded the Incarcerated Artists Project.

Sarah Brim

Sarah is an attorney and a former New York City public school teacher. She graduated from Stanford University with a J.D. and M.A. in education.

Mark Andriola

Mark is a graduate of Yale Law School. In 2016, he organized the first debate tournament on Rikers Island. Mark also helped found the Rikers Debate Project.

Matt Habig

Matt is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School. He is an active fundraiser for breast cancer research through Habig's Homemade and the Avon Foundation.
